Recalls, Reminders and Results - can be communicated with your consent by letter, email, SMS or telephone.
A patient will be recalled where the results of clinical condition/s, if not followed up, may result in further complications for the patient.
If you consent, we are able to send you reminders for tests or services when they fall due. We do this routinely for Pap smear tests, vaccinations and care plan reviews. Your information will be entered onto both the Balgal Beach Medical Practice and the relevant National recall databases. Please inform us if you would prefer not to receive a reminder.
All results can be discussed by making an appointment with your doctor. Reception staff are not medically trained to be able to provide or discuss specific results, but may be able to relay the doctor's comments. Doctors will notify patients if a result requires urgent attention.
